Judy Siver sent me this information on October 11, 2012 while she was gathering information on veterans for the 
Class of 1962 - 50 year reunion. 

This brief statement below comes from the 10 year reunion booklet from the Hackensack High School 1962 class on November 24, 1972:

“Rich went into the Air Force after graduation and spent a year in Vietnam.”
